A group of concerned citizens of Lexington, Buena Vista and Rockbridge County has organized Hosting Ukrainian Families as a humanitarian outreach effort for our community to pave the way for sponsoring the re-settlement of families from Ukraine who qualify for legal  entry according to the laws and policies of the United States of America.

The mission of Hosting Ukrainian Families shall be based solely upon love, compassion, and humanitarian concerns for such families seeking a place where they may live in peace.

Accordingly, a call is issued to each person joining in this effort to set aside all politically, culturally divisive viewpoints and all differences which may hinder or defeat such loving, compassionate and humanitarian goals.
